This privacy policy governs your use of the Family Gift app (the "Application") for Android and iOS smartphones, created by Edouard Kerhir. The application allows you to share information about gift ideas that would make the user happy. The user can share this list with members of his or her households (friends, colleagues, family, etc.). Only members of these households can access and interact with this information

What information does the Application require and how is it used?

In order to use this service, certain information is required. This personal information is the following:

• Your e-mail address,

• Your name (or nickname)

• Your password (which you create)

You communicate this information only within the framework of a manual inscription with address e-mail and password. 

However, we also offer you the possibility of logging in with your social network identifiers (such as Facebook or Google).

• Your email address 

• Your profile picture

•  Other information that you choose to make public on your social networks

In particular, we may ask you for access to:

• Your phone's camera

This information is used to add images to the content you create in the App and is not mandatory.

How is your data used?

We are committed to collecting, processing or storing your personal data for specified, legitimate and relevant purposes. 

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

• Management of your subscriptions to push notifications

• Creation and management of your personal content in the Application and allowing the use of the latter 

• Your identification within the service 

We consider that all of the above processing is necessary for the execution of the service.

Information collected automatically

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of phone you use, your operating system and information about how you use the Application, for analytical purposes.

Does the App collect my real-time geolocation?

No, the App does not use your geolocation data.

Do any third party tools have access to the information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated and anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only as described in this privacy statement. We may disclose user-supplied information collected automatically.

As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request with our trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to abide by the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy. 

If Family Gift is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified by email and/or prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or use of such information, as well as any choices you may have regarding such information.

How to delete personal data stored on the Application's servers?

Deleting your account from the Application will delete all your personal data. If you wish, you can also send an email to the developer of the application at family.gift.app@gmail.com, or via the contact form. Your email address will be needed to delete your account by contacting the developer.

What are my options to stop collecting this information?

You can easily stop all collection of information by the App by uninstalling the App. You can use the standard uninstallation processes available as part of your mobile device or through the application store used to install the Application. You may also request to unsubscribe by emailing family.gift.app@gmail.com, or by contacting us via the contact form on this site.

What is an affiliate link?

It is a link that directs to a merchant site and contains additional information called "affiliate code". This code informs the merchant site of the visitor's origin. If a sale is made, the referring site may receive a commission. When you click on a link to a gift in a listing, it may be redirected to one of our affiliate partners such as Amazon. This allows Family Gift to receive, under certain conditions, a possible commission in case of purchase on the merchant site, and to be able to continue to offer you the services of the Family Gift application for free.
